江户切子（玻璃雕刻）诞生于19世纪。切子是用磨刻机雕刻玻璃表面的精细技术。至今已有180多载历史。其工匠掌握20余种别具一格的传统剪裁设计，创造了新的现代设计图案。自20世纪初以来，雕刻作品已广泛用作餐具。江户切子采用约1毫米厚的彩色玻璃精细雕刻，成品棱角分明，呈现清透光泽。
